Free movies...
When was the last time a "Free Movie" was added - or is That a "thing of the past" - seems like it's been a LONG TIME!

Any movie before the year 2000 is free, and while it's been a little while, the site HAS continued to add older movies along with newer titles. Most want the new stuff added more quickly, so that's likely why they are more frequently, but I know there have been some weeks when we've had a bunch of pre-2000 movies added.

If you read the post DIRECTLY above yours you will see that the question HAS been answered. We do get new free movies, but they are not NEW movies. All movies from 1999 and earlier are free, so any older movies added, that fall in that category, are free.
