Syriana Questions

I've watched "Syriana" many times and I still don't understand a few things. What was Bob trying to do by driving up to the caravan in the end? I have a few other questions, but I'll see what kind of response I get to this before posting them.

Wish I could add to the conversation. I can't remember if I just never saw it, or if I started to watch it and didn't finish it, but I haven't seen enough of it to answer. Just wanted to reply, so your post doesn't get buried. Hopefully, someone who HAS watched the movie will post a reply. I enjoy seeing discussions about films in the forum, but lately we've not had many, so your post was quite refreshing.
